I began my career journey working on super yachts, where I additionally achieved training as a Purser and gained extensive knowledge of maritime law. The yacht’s design, which combines marine elements with the practical use of space, immediately won my affection.

Afterward, I pursued my career as a yacht stylist in the UK (www.tonycastroyachts.com) and then moved on as an independent architect in Cote d’Azure, France (www.oppidum-renovation.com). A fantastic opportunity came to me to join Allen Exploration program and work on rebuilding Walkers Cay in The Bahamas (/www.walkerscay.com). I was very lucky to travel all over the globe, including New Zealand, the Bahamas, the entire Mediterranean, and the East Coast of the U.S. I immersed myself in different cultures and the beauty of the ocean.

These encounters sharpened my perception, fed my curiosity, and deepened my admiration for the history and cultures of various nations. Working in a global setting has improved my discipline, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. All this inspired me to design marine-themed interiors. The ocean always resonates deeply with me and I’m sure it will do the same with many others who find themselves dreaming of the architecture, motifs, functionality, and beauty of nautical compositions. It’s a design that goes beyond a point of view. It’s a design with a story.
